Superb hospitality from Bernd and Naoko! The staff are welcoming just like the bosses. We love the beddings. Extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best served in hotels.

Amazing rooms, amazing facilities, great food options at the hotel or a short walk into town, ski instructors will pick you up from your doorstep, private parking — it has it all. The staff at House of Finn Juhl were amazing! I booked these rooms for my family trip, Yuka helped me plan dinners for our large group before we arrived and then upon arrival was even more amazing. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was beautiful. They helped arrange our Takyubin to the next location for our luggage. They provided amazing snacks and great breakfasts, it was wonderful!

The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. We were picked up from the station, welcomed by a large sushi platter and then we could organise ski hire at the hotel. The room was very spacious and warm. The billiards and fire place were super cosy every night and the snacks made the trip easy. Also location is very close to Cherry pub and Echoland, so walking to dinner made the trip extra convenient. The breakfast in the morning and then being taken to the ski fields. Tatami, our host, was so generous with his time and kindness. We are a family of five.

We chose the share-bath room type by accident, but in the end it didn’t bother us. The public hot bath and shower are very clean, we didn’t see another guest while using it. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast are great, and the restaurant Mimi at the hotel is beyond excellent.

We were a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) and it was the perfect size, plus handy to have 3 bathrooms for the number of people staying in the apartment. Stephen & his wife were helpful with booking restaurants, giving us advice about Hakuba ski resorts and arranging our luggage transfer to Tokyo. We joined in the pizza night at their Lodge which was really nice and looked to also be a lovely place to stay.

The property is well located, clean, equipped with a beautiful onsen, interesting restaurant with traditional Japanese style cuisine and wonderful views of the mountains. However, above all else, the Tokyo has an amazing staff. All we’re kind, welcoming and helpful. In particular, the younger gentleman working the ski rental facility was able to answer all of our questions and ensured we had what we needed for a great day on the slopes at Happo One. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Yoshi and his wife are amazing humans, from the homemade breakfast to driving us to the station. Their hospitality is unbeatable. The property felt like we were staying in more of a traditional home. It was extremely clean and well managed. The private onsen was a huge bonus.
